Another duet song composed together with Haw, my best partner. Our original concept was initially the chill type of folky tune. The final outcome was… Hmm, cute?

Amber has a really special tone. Nice!

Million thanks to Orange and Jackey for the fabulous demo vocals. We still love it, a lot! And of course, to Mr. 葛大為, <天生一對> wouldn’t have made it without you! 謝謝!

〈谁说爱情不能做比较〉 – Amy 王明丽 & 阿飞

This is my very first step into album production. Many thanks to my music soul mate, Haw, who got the project and decided to include me as a co-writer, co-arranger and even better.. co-producer.

The writing process was quite interesting. As agreed with Real Celebrity, we picked 爱情不能做比较 (by Malaysian boy group BABY) and made it a Duet. Since the original version was about the guy’s opinion regarding love is impossible to be compared, we came up with our own rendition of the girl arguing with the guy: No Way!! Love can be compared!!

Gladly, the original singer 阿飞 spontaneously agreed on taking the male lead part. Appreciate that!

Theme Song Variation

This is a job that requires original composition (Theme Song) for a News Station on the internet. 

3 versions were separately done by me, Haw and another guy.

Gladly (but a little unfortunately), mine was chosen. That’s because this theme didn’t seem to be easy to be varied, and yet 8 variations were needed.

After the selection, I was assigned to do 3 variations.

Did the arrangement for this kids musical, which was showcased in Singapore. Same production team as 我是第一名 Musical.

Animation – Star Riders (Trailer)

Did the music scoring for this trailer, sound efx by Venus. Apparently the animation company successfully sold it, which means the episodes are coming up soon. This animation teaches children between 2-5 yrs old four languages. Enjoy!

Kay 郭晓薇 – 后备

A song i composed back in late 2005. Recently being published and sung by 8TV Project Superstar Season 3 Female Champion, Kay. The EP has been released on 23rd of April, 2008. 30% of the Grand Finale’s result is determined by the sales of this EP. All the best to Kay.
 

Also wanna share the demo of 后备. Was one of the earliest works which involved my music soul mates – Haw and Faz. Especially Faz, really appreciate those kau kau guitar solo! Classic! Those were the days..

Did the whole music for this animation trailer titled ‘Element Kittens’. It’s a ‘Save The World’ kinda cartoon.
Tried out a few takes and ended up with this one.
Very satisfied with the outcome.

《我是第一名》 儿童音乐剧 (‘I Am Number One’ Kids Musical)

Did the arrangement for a kids musical called 我是第一名.

It was showcased in Istana Budaya on 29th of March ‘08.

The production was pretty good. Outcome was impressive.

This song is the Closing a.k.a. Finale. Enjoy!

This is my first published song! Original demo title was 寂寞总是那么多.

p/s: I am the composer, not the lyricist. It was a technical mistake made by whoever that keyed in the credits in the album.

This is the album cover of “FROM NOW ON 新歌+精选”.

 

Would like to share the demo version of the song. It was sung by ah fei, a singer with an incredibly lummm (touching) voice. Really appreciate that.
